DESCRIPTION
CETCO Insta-Vis Dry is an easy-mixing, water soluble, high molecular weight anionic polymer. CETCO Insta-Vis Dry is a granular polymer that improves drilling efficiency in both horizontal and vertically drilled holes.
RECOMMENDED USE
Designed for use as a drilling fluid polymer for improved viscosity, fluid loss control, bit lubrication and shale stabilization/inhibition.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Disperses easily with moderate shear in freshwater
- Flocculates non-reactive solids in reserve pit
- High lubricity reduces torque
- Inhibits sticky clay and shale from swelling and bit balling
- Maintains borehole integrity in both horizontal and vertical holes
- Works well with DRILL-TERGEâ„¢ to eliminate sticky clay
MIXING AND APPLICATIONS
Adjust mix water pH to above 7.0 to maximize product performance. Always mix bentonite first; then add INSTA-VIS DRY at a slow rate of 2 to 8.5 pounds per 1,000 gallons of drilling fluid. Mix for 10 to 15 minutes to hydrate.
PACKAGING
14 lb pail, 48 per pallet. All pallets are plastic-wrapped.
