This demanding market segment runs on a true 24 hour clock and every day of the year in all states and countries. We are continuing to align our knowledge base and product offering to serve these customers. Specifically we support drilling and blasting contractors with a multitude of products. Drilling methods are characterized by diameter of the blasthole and depth of the bench height inside the pit. We sell down the hole hammers and bits as well as top hammer and threaded steel. Some of the more difficult drilling conditions require special additives like HOLE CONTROL to help stabilize the borehole and avoid sloughing issues. More and more operations are considering environmental responsibilities and using our Matex Brand Rock Drill Oil for Lubrication to their DTH Hammer Drills.
In addition to the down the hole and drill string components, we support the drilling rig operations by working on air compressors and sourcing hard to find drill rig parts.
