Geothermal: Eco-Friendly Heat Resource

The inside of the Earth is full of heat. You will notice the deeper you dig a hole the warmer it gets, this heat is called geothermal energy. Wells are drilled around 2 miles deep into the Earth to pump steam and hot water to the surface. Geothermal is eco-friendly since you are taking the Earth’s natural energy, and would have no need to burn fuel.

An energy well has a lifespan of at least 100 years. Heat pumps and other equipment will need to be replaced throughout that lifespan. Drilling Equipment Resources assist professional drillers with getting the right tools to drill and optimize the energy from the hole.
