DESCRIPTION
This 2020 Gefco 40K Drill Rig is a robust and highly capable machine, meticulously designed for demanding drilling operations. With only 5384 hours on the rig and 1078 hours on the compressor, it offers substantial operational life remaining. Located in Iowa, this rig is set up for 4-½” drill pipe and is ready for immediate deployment.
Key features of this powerful rig include a 35-foot mast and a versatile 3-speed tophead offering up to 7,200 ft-lbs of torque. It boasts a substantial 40,000 lbf holdback capacity and a 25,000 lbf pulldown, complemented by a 25,000 lbf hydraulic hoisting drum. Air is supplied by a 2-stage twin screw 1,000 CFM @ 350 PSI compressor with a clutch. The rig also features hydraulic leveling jacks, a hydraulically retracting breakout table with a sliding holding wrench, a 25 GPM water injection pump, and a 7-gallon lubricator. For efficient pipe handling, it includes a six-pod carousel, single pipe loader, hydraulic pipe spinner, and a 60-inch hydraulic breakout wrench. A pipe carrying rack with a capacity for 15 pieces of 4-½” x 20 ft drill pipe is also included. Remote jib controls provide independent operation.
