DESCRIPTION
The 5.5″ QL50 DTH Rock Hog Hammer is a valveless pneumatic percussion DTH hammer for drilling in all rock formations. DTH hammers are suited for any type of drilling application including, water wells, quarries, open pit and underground mining, construction, blasting, environmental, oil and gas. The 5.5″ QL50 DTH Rock Hog Hammer incorporates one moving part, the piston, making the hammer very reliable.
All external parts are hardened to resist wear while all critical internal parts are also hardened for maximum service life. Because of this, the hammers are easy to maintain and service.

Rock Hog Drilling Products is a third generation family owned and operated company. They specialize in the design and manufacturing of DTH (down the hole) hammers and DTH bits for percussion drilling needs of the mining, quarry, water well, oil, gas and construction industries. The company has been manufacturing DTH hammers and bits since 1990 and has over 30 years of experience in the rock drilling industry.
With a 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in south central Pennsylvania, Rock Hog enjoys the best of both worlds. While they are located in a rural farmland community where the work ethic of our people adds to their capability and value, they are also close to major commerce and interstate arteries I-70, I-76, and I-81. They are located off Route 16 between Interstate 81 and the Pennsylvania turnpike. Because of this, their facility is easily accessible and they welcome their customers to visit.
Their entire facility is temperature controlled and their shipping and receiving area accommodates both dock and tailgate loading and unloading. In addition, adjacent to the current facility is an additional 9 acres of land owned by the company for potential growth.
