If you are looking for a straightforward, mechanical workhorse that gets the job done, this 1982 TH60 is a great candidate. While it’s been around the block, it remains in good working order and offers a balanced air and mud setup that is increasingly hard to find in this price range.
At the heart of this rig is the legendary Cummins N14 engine. Known for its massive torque and long-term durability, this engine has 8,000 hours on it—a solid mid-life point for a powerplant of this caliber. We believe in being upfront: while the rig is fundamentally sound and ready to work, the hydraulic valve bank needs some attention to bring it back to peak performance.
The rig is currently set up for 4.5” drill rods. To help you get moving, we can include 400’ of drill rod with the purchase. Please note, however, that these rods are in “fair” condition and have seen significant use, so they are best suited for backup or lighter-duty applications.
